Every spring, friends of Children of Bellevue, Inc. come together to host our largest benefit of the year — Toast to the Children.
Toast to the Children is a quintessential annual New York City Food & Drink Event to support innovative, life‐changing pediatric programs at Bellevue Hospital Center. Famed chef and Board member, Tom Colicchio of Craft Restaurants and Bravo’s Top Chef spearheads this wine and food sampling extravaganza at his fabulous Riverpark restaurant overlooking the East River. The proceeds benefit children’s programs at Bellevue Hospital Center.
Toast to the Children is a festive evening with over 450 people in attendance sampling signature dishes from some of New York’s finest restaurants and sipping wines from around the world, as they mingle with celebrity chefs and fellow foodies. New York’s most celebrated chefs delight guests with samples from their menus. A Silent Auction of high-end items, services and getaways rounds out the entertainment.
This year’s honorees are a diverse and intriguing group of people. Our Corporate Honoree is Joel Marcus, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc.; Famed Chef, Jacques Pepin is our Culinary Honoree; and the delightful children’s book author, Jon Scieszka is our Children’s Literacy Honoree.
