At the Frances L. Loeb Center for Child Protection and Development at Bellevue Hospital Center (CPC), we address the unique needs of approximately 300 physically and sexually abused children in the greater Metropolitan area every year. Our multidisciplinary child protection team, consisting of specially trained pediatricians, nurses, social workers, child development specialists, and psychologists, seeks to minimize psychological trauma by providing evaluation and treatment that is age-appropriate, child-focused, and comprehensive.
