The 2016 Children of Bellevue Calendars and Note Cards are now available for pick in the Children of Bellevue office on the Mezzanine Floor of the Bellevue Hospital Center H Building (Room ME15).

These one-of-a-kind pieces created by our patients make great teachers’ gifts and holiday presents for the whole family and for co-workers as well.

It is time to get your holiday shopping started! In case your travels don’t take you through the Atrium lobby, be sure to head over there in your spare time and check out the amazing book fair!
Children of Bellevue, in partnership with Bellevue Hospital Center and Reach Out and Read, is hosting a week-long book fair in the atrium lobby from Monday, November 16th through Friday, November 20th, from 8 AM to 8 PM.
There are books for all ages, and a portion of each sale will help provide MORE BOOKS FOR KIDS!  We hosted this sale for the first time ever this past July and were able to raise over $3,300 dollars!
Each year, Children of Bellevue’s Reach Out and Read program gives out more than 12,000 brand new books to children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years at every well-child check-up.

Our Infant Layette Program provides pajamas, blankets and cute little outfits so that babies born at Bellevue are off to a warm, comfortable and, dare we say, ‘stylish’, start in life. The families receiving these layettes, families like Sarah’s, always leave the hospital uplifted and ready to start a wonderful journey together. The experience fosters a feeling of hope in lives often filled with obstacles and lack of family and community support.

We’ve begun a new crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to keep our Layette program going strong and keeping babies warm.

Last week we set our goal at $5,000 and hoped to raise it in six weeks.  And then we raised it in FIVE DAYS!  So many people care about newborn babies born into poverty , and we want to give everyone the chance to make a difference.  And the simple truth is that we really need $10,000 to care for…
