2024 TCS New York City Marathon
Every year, dedicated Children of Bellevue supporters hit the pavement in the concrete jungle to train for and run the TCS New York City Marathon! Our runners have raised more than $160,000 for our programs and every year they increase awareness of our mission!

Shiana Rodriguez
Hi everyone! My name is Shiana Rodriguez, and I am thrilled to be taking on the challenge of my first marathon. This incredible organization holds a special place in my heart as I was born at Bellevue Hospital Center, alongside most of my family! As I embark on this marathon journey, I want to pay it forward to Bellevue and the community it serves - my community. The Children of Bellevue provides vital resources, programs, and support to children and families in need in all five boroughs. I am running in honor of all the children of New York City! I’m running to honor their resilience, their dreams, and their futures. I invite you to join me in making a difference by supporting my fundraising efforts. Every bit of support counts.
Devin Sean Moss
Devin Sean Moss is a Humanist Chaplain who completed his chaplain internship at Bellevue Hospital in 2022. In addition to his spiritual care work, he is a podcast producer unwavering in his pursuit to relate stories that connect us to our humanity. A natural explorer, he uses playful inquisition to examine the complexity of the human condition and the intrinsic meaning of life. Moss maintains an interdisciplinary practice of storytelling, street philosophy, and practical altruism. In 2015, Moss created The Adventures of Memento Mori podcast. The consequence of this deep meditation on impermanence was life-changing. Uncertain of what happens after we die, Moss has dedicated his life to the positive changes that can happen while we’re still alive.
Matthew Sambrook
Matt holds a special place in his heart for CoB having run for us in 2021 while living with his Canadian wife and two young boys in NYC. Originally from the UK, Matt moved to NYC from Vancouver, Canada in 2016 as part of job relocation with EY. After spending 6 years in the city, Matt relocated to Ontario, Canada but still regularly comes to NYC for both business and pleasure. Whether running the NYC Marathon in November can be considered as a pleasure remains to be seen… but Matt is keen to continue to the fundraising and represent CoB.
Henry Steckel
Runner and lover of live music, you can find me walking my two dogs around Williamsburg looking for whichever brewery is featuring some fresh Nelson hops. I'm so excited to represent Children of Bellevue in my second NYC Marathon.

Hannah Bordogna
Hi, my name is Hannah! I am thrilled to be participating in the NYC marathon to support Children of Bellevue. This cause is close to my heart, as I started working at Bellevue Hospital this July, and have had the chance to work with the patient population that directly benefits from this charity. Their work serves over 50,000 children and their families in NYC with “programs that provide high-quality medical care, mental health services, early childhood development support, food resources, early literacy and school readiness, and much more, to children who need it most.” Running has always been a passion of mine, but this time, I am running with a purpose.
Your support means the world to me and to those who benefit from Children of Bellevue’s incredible efforts. Every donation will contribute to improving the experience and outcomes for pediatric patients and their families. Thank you for supporting my journey as I run my first marathon and for contributing to the incredible mission of Children of Bellevue!
